Museum – differently!twiddle lets you go new ways and explore roads not taken. We are on the move, our world is in motion – and has been forever! Take twiddle with you on your visit to one of the eight Leibniz Research Museums. Solve the quests that link museum objects to the here and now. Collect objects and view them from different angles using “the perspective wheel”: What does an old shipwreck from the Schifffahrtsmuseum in Bremerhaven have to do with data theft, or a dinosaur skeleton with technological progress? Trade objects with other players in the other museums in real time: If you need a hammer to repair a locomotive in the Deutsches Museum, ask a player at the Senckenberg Museum of Natural History in Frankfurt. Create your own museum “object mashups”: What do you get when you "cross" a painted Venus from the Germanisches Nationalmuseum in Nuremberg with shells from the Museum für Naturkunde in Berlin?Explore the complexity of our world through play. Walk between nature, culture and technology, through space and time. twiddle will help you navigate these worlds that have so much for you to discover. If youre curious, why not start with the Homequest? You can play it from your kitchen, bedroom, friend’s house – wherever you are in the world!twiddle was developed jointly by the eight Leibniz Research Museums and is funded by Aktionsplan Leibniz-Forschungsmuseen II, a German Federal and State government project grant. The app is available in German and English. These are the eight Leibniz Research Museums:Deutsches Bergbau-Museum BochumDeutsches Museum MünchenDeutsches Schifffahrtsmuseum BremerhavenGermanisches Nationalmuseum NürnbergMuseum für Naturkunde BerlinMuseum Koenig BonnRömisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum MainzSenckenberg Gesellschaft für Naturforschung Frankfurt am Main
